South Africa Cricket and The World War

South Africa's Cricket Team from 1907

For few years, both England and Australia dominated each other at their home. South Africa soon joined International Cricket and England was the first team to visit South Africa. For a decade they were dominated by both Australia and England but won a series against England 4-1 in 1906. The 4-balls per over changed to 5-balls over and eventually to current 6-ball per over game. The timeless Tests ceased to have existed due to the busy schedule. There was no International Cricket between 1914 & 1918 due to World War.
